[solved]: Anydesk and Teamviewer not able to install

Post by itsmesri » 2019/10/24 16:33:34

I have CentOS 8. I tried to install Anydesk and Teamviewer directly downloaded .rpm files from their websites using firefox. When I try to install it is showing "Failed to install file: not support" on software panel.

I have CentOS Linux 8 on VirualBoxVM, GNOME: Version 3.28.2 OS type 64-bit Virtualization Oracle

Open a command prompt, become root then use yum install /path/to/your.rpm and see what the errors, if any, are and post them here.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
