Post by imranijaz » 2011/07/23 20:35:32

i have configured my ftp server as i did till centos5.6. but this time vsftpd server works properly but when i specify address as ftp://username@ip-address to access my home folder as it happened before, it asks for user name and password. after specifying user name and password (non root) it asks agian again and gain. this window appears continuously. why.

Hi
Check the user's homedir permissions and vsftpd log files:
# less /var/log/secure
