Cannot connect wifi 6.3, Broadcom BCM43227

New install 6.3
Broadcom BCM432227 wifi controller.

I've pretty much given up on this, I have tried all the suggestions I could find, which all seem to be incomplete or out of date.

Question is really what is the quickest way round? new card? ubuntu?

Wired connection is not possible in this case.

tried everything i could find. nothing.

ubuntu just works with it. not what i wanted but will have to do. :-(
