Apache server remote access problem
i installed following application on centos 5.2
* Apache HTTPD 2.2.11 + Openssl 0.9.8i
* MySQL 5.1.30
* PHP 5.2.8
* phpMyAdmin 3.1.1
* FileZilla FTP Server 0.9.29
* Mercury Mail Transport System 4.52
but i can not access phpmyadmin from remote bu i can via SSH
paths :

/opt/lampp/bin/mysql calls for example the MySQL monitor.
/opt/lampp/htdocs/ The Apache DocumentRoot directory.
/opt/lampp/etc/httpd.conf The Apache configuration file.
/opt/lampp/etc/my.cnf The MySQL configuration file.
/opt/lampp/etc/php.ini The PHP configuration file.
/opt/lampp/etc/proftpd.conf The ProFTPD configuration file. (since 0.9.5)

Those are not CentOS versions - how are we supposed to know what you broke or why it doesn't work?

Those are not CentOS versions - how are we supposed to know what you broke or why it doesn't work?

NetSlided meant that those are not official packages.
If you have problem with them you should first ask the supplier.
Following packages will be available in 5.3
Available Packages
httpd.i386 2.2.3-22.el5
mysql-server.i386 5.0.45-7.el5
php.i386 5.1.6-23.el5
If you want you could install whatever package you want, but not expect fast(any) answers here.

As foxb said, if you install something that is not shipped by CentOS, you cannot expect [official] help. It is best to stay with what comes with CentOS and 3rd party repositories found at:
