A lot of the i386 versions of packages that were present in the x86_64 repositories for CentOS5 are not present in CentOS6.
One example is libXrender which is needed to run the 32bit download of Firefox 5. But there a a load of others I notice missing to that were present in CentOS5.
Is this a intended decision? Or left out by mistake? Is there some new way to get i386 versions of packages installed on a x86_64 install that involves passing a architecture argument to yum so it searches the i386 repos instead of the x86_64 ones?

Re: Missing i386 packages in x86_64 repositories
NVM, I see I have to ask yum to install libXrender.i686 instead of libXrender.i386 now
