Pick a different virtual ethernet card model in the VMWare config. Intel e1000 should be supported.

No, sorry, I know nothing about VMWare except that, in common with most hypervisors, you can tailor the virtual hardware presented to the guest. Yours is currently configured to present an ethernet card model that is not supported.

That's the type of networking connection not the card model.

A quick google on "vmware config e1000" found me lots of hits. Perhaps some of those might be useful.

Guys, I have been having this problem since yesterday. I am not being able to use wired LAN internet inside CentOS 7 inside VMware 10. In virtual network editor i added 3 virtual network, VMnet 0 as bridge, VMnet 1 as host only and VMnet 8 as NAT. In settings of Vware i selected bridge option, and then again selected NAT in settings and VMnet8 in virtual network editor. still can'[t resolve internet, help me guys
