16:10:23 <chantra_> I am trying to backport https://github.com/rpm-software-management/rpm/pull/1534 has it is substantially modfying lib/fsm.c . It applies nicely on top of 4.16.3.1 (c9s) but seems more challenging to apply on top of 4.14.3 (c8s)
16:12:19 <chantra_> I am going to give another pass at backporting 1534 to 4.14. Regardless, we will also need 1534 in c9s to get CoW there too eventually
